Docpoint Global., a Puerto Rico Corporation, producer of Docpoint.com (referred herein after as Docpoint) being referred to as ”we,” ”us,” or ”our” throughout this Privacy Notice, is committed to maintaining the privacy rights of its customers and visitors to our websites. Docpoint takes your privacy seriously, and will maintain information about you, your business, your customers, and your users in strict confidence. i.What This Privacy Policy Covers
This privacy policy covers Docpoint treatment of personal identifiable information that Docpoint obtains when you are on our sites and when you use our services. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Docpoint does not own or control or to people that Docpoint does not employ or manage including any third parties whose websites are posted as links on our Websites.
ii.Registration
Customers are asked to provide certain personal information when they register for our services, such as, their name, address, telephone number and billing information. The personal information received from customers during the registration process is used to manage each Members account. This information is not shared with third parties, unless specifically stated otherwise in this Privacy Policy or Terms of Use or any other agreement between you and us or in special circumstances. However, in certain situations , Docpoint and a third party partner have agreed to jointly promote certain services so Docpoint, as a result of that common relationship, may provide to that third party partner certain personal information of yours. The personal information that may be shared could include your name, your address and usernames of persons who subscribed to services that are related to the joint promotion by and between Docpoint and its third party partner. The personal information that will be shared will be for the sole purpose of allowing Docpoint and its third party partner to assess results of the promotion. In a joint promotion relationship, the third party partner will use your personal information for the purpose of assessing the results of that promotion.
